Dehydrated brewer's yeast is based on Saccharomyces cerevisiae and comes in grains. In the package it is combined with sorbitan monostearate.
It is ideal for preparing both sweet and savory products that require natural and slow leavening, such as bread, focaccia, pizza and calzoni, as well as brioches, donuts, savarin, donuts, braids and babà.
To use it, simply add it to the flour selected for the preparation, together with two teaspoons of sugar, without dissolving or reactivating it in water.
The leavening of the dough must take place in a warm place, covered with a damp cloth before cooking.
It should be noted that a sachet of Mastro Fornaio is suitable for 500 grams of flour, and is equivalent to a normal 25 gram cube of fresh yeast. If only part of the contents of the sachet is used, it is recommended to keep the rest in the refrigerator and use it within 2 days.

Once the dough has been created, you can enjoy making an infinite number of pizzas, breads and focaccias, normal, with high hydration or long leavening, to obtain different results and add the toppings of your choice!
With Paneangeli brewer's yeast you can make rustic stuffed with frankfurters, olives or cheese, to be eaten at a party, or savory tarallucci, tigelle or pizzas to be fried in oil.
The product is also perfect for making desserts: make brioches or donuts filled with hazelnut cream, biscuits or small cakes to be filled with dried fruit, raisins or fruit jam.
