For a delicious touch at the table, use Conad's Aubergine Fillets in Oil!
Cut into comfortable thin fillets, the Conad aubergines are preserved in sunflower oil and wine vinegar. Their unmistakable flavor is accentuated by aromatic herbs which make them complete and perfect for any type of choice in the kitchen.
This type of preserve is widely used in Southern Italy where aubergines are one of the main ingredients for delicious cuisines that respect tradition or that know how to stir the culinary imagination!
And you don't know how to use them? You can try them alone or accompany them with cured meats, cold cuts and a glass of good red wine for a set of strong flavours. Or cut them into small pieces and mix them in your fresh salads for the summer: rice salads, cold pasta salads or mixed vegetables also accompanied by diced cheese. To prepare captivating aperitifs, spread the aubergine fillets on croutons, with mozzarella or as a topping for pizzas. They are also excellent as a side dish for meat main courses. The first courses are very tasty with toppings that you can vary according to your preferences: try the pasta with aubergines, cherry tomatoes and bacon cubes, or with aubergines and tuna or simply with basil and a sprinkling of chilli which completes the strength of flavours.
Keep the jar of aubergines in oil fillets in a cool, dry place and, if you want to use them again, after opening, put the container in the refrigerator keeping the aubergines in their preserving liquid. When you're done, drain the liquid and throw the jar in the separate glass collection.
