BASIL SAUCE

Our basil sauce is prepared from carefully selected top quality raw materials. The tomato pulp, the concentrate, the basil, the olive oil, the onion, the carrots, the celery: they are all present with salt and sugar to give you a unique and unforgettable flavour. Preparation takes place with care and all Conad products are subjected to further checks to ascertain their goodness.

Once you have purchased your jar of Conad Basil online, all you have to do is keep it in a cool, dry place. When you want to use it as a sauce for pasta, just a few minutes will be enough. You can put the tomato sauce in a pan to heat over low heat for about 4 minutes while the pasta finishes cooking or you can add it to the drained pasta al dente and sauté it on the heat for another 2 minutes. If you have any leftover dressing in the jar, you can put it in the fridge. It will keep good and fragrant for 3/4 days.

It may not be among the fanciest sauces for pasta, but it is among the fastest and best you will find on the Conad shelves. It does not mean that you can enrich it with some other ingredient. Why don't you try bacon strips or minced sausage? Conad's tomato and basil sauce is also excellent for seasoning main courses such as meatballs or fish.
