It is the ingredient to always have in the pantry, essential for the realization of an excellent homemade pizza, to be used also for the preparation of sandwiches and savory focaccias. Due to its simplicity of use, it is also suitable for those who have no experience in making leavened products.

Compared to fresh brewer's yeast, dry yeast has the advantage of not having to be stored in the refrigerator, ensuring longer preservation and, precisely for this reason, it proves to be a very versatile ingredient, to be used even after a while between preparations and the other one. Furthermore, dry yeast is safer in effectiveness, fresh yeast perishes faster.

The secret of the perfect recipe is in the ingredients you use and Conad dry yeast is what makes your recipes unique and tasty.

Before use, the ingredient must be reactivated. Proceed as follows: pour a sachet of Conad brewer's yeast and a teaspoon of sugar into half a 50 ml glass of warm water and mix until dissolved. Wait about 10 minutes until abundant foam forms, a sign that the yeast is back active and can be used. Combine the compound obtained with the ingredients of your recipe and let the dough rise for about an hour, preferably covered with a warm cloth and without forcing the times. When the volume has doubled, cook in the preheated oven.

One sachet corresponds to a dose for 500 g of flour and is equal to a cube of fresh yeast.

Store dry natural brewer's yeast in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, the bag can be closed with food tongs.
